WELCOME
Welcome to Gloria Christi Lutheran Preschool/Daycare. You and your child are beginning an important
adventure in your lives, and I am happy that you have chosen to share this time with us. I would like to
assure you that our staff is dedicated to providing a positive Christian experience for your child in a
secure and loving environment. Our goal is to help children grow in their knowledge of and relationship
with Jesus Christ and the world around them, while preparing them socially and academically for school.
This handbook contains a great deal of important information, including policies and procedures that help
to keep our facility running smoothly. Please keep it in a convenient place for quick reference. If at any
time you have questions or concerns, feel free to contact a teacher or myself.

To the parents of Gloria Christi Lutheran Preschool/Daycare children:
Children are indeed a heritage from the LORD Himself. God loves life and is the author of life in
abundance. And so even when sin and death came into this world from the common parents of all
humanity, Adam and Eve, the Lord made provision to restore eternal life to all, for as many as believe in
Christ receive it through His Word. So we seek to fulfill the ‘Great Commission’ of the Lord Jesus to
make disciples of Jesus in all nations through both Gloria Christi Lutheran Church and our
Preschool/Daycare. We rejoice in the sending of children to our long-running preschool daycare that has
been recognized in Weld County as one of the best.
Our teachers and staff stand ready to proclaim Christ in Word and reflect Him in their deeds. While we
seek to do many of the important things that nearly all preschool strive to do in readying children for their
school careers, we also seek to introduce them to the basics of the Christian faith as Lutherans historically
confess it. In this we seek to communicate to the changeless truths of the Christian faith in a simple way
to the children entrusted to us for their preschool years. We also cordially invite you to consider visiting
Gloria Christi Lutheran Church to hear the Word of God and to send your children to Sunday School with
us as well.
