Guarini is still the highest Goldwyn son in <strong>German</strong>y<br />
and also ranks high in other countries’ top lists. Guarini<br />
descends from a well-known <strong>German</strong> show cow family<br />
who already commanded attention through positive<br />
tested sons as well as now through genomics.<br />
Guarini proved the uniformity of his progeny at several<br />
shows, e.g. the <strong>German</strong> Holstein Show. His daughters<br />
combine his sire’s style with the functionality and<br />
strength of his dam’s line. Juvenile Guarini heifers are<br />
characterized by lots of development potential. They<br />
present themselves as framy animals with adequate<br />
dairy type and lots of strength. As they also have above<br />
average body depth, his progeny give a very harmonic<br />
overall picture. Rumps tend to be somewhat more level<br />
and are of sufficient width and length.<br />
The clean feet and legs of the Guarini daughters show<br />
a little more angle, but impress for locomotion and their<br />
correct set.<br />
Highlight of Guarini’s conformation transmission is the<br />
udders. They are attached highly in the rear and are of<br />
adequate width with a very strong suspensory ligament.<br />
Fore udders leave nothing to be desired and have a<br />
firm attachment. In combination with good texture and<br />
optimal teat placement, this results in a nice, easy to milk<br />
quality udder.<br />
Thanks to his high transmission for milk yield and his<br />
highly positive protein percentages, Guarini daughters<br />
can be considered excellent production cows who will<br />
work efficiently on farms with their good udder health<br />
and high longevity. In this case, there is also the desired<br />
combination of type and strength as well as very good<br />
udders so that the elegant daughters of this excellent<br />
heifer bull excel with their appearance.
