Colwick<br />
Colwick, on the banks of the<br />
River Trent, is the borough’s only<br />
urban Parish. Located there is<br />
the borough’s main industrial<br />
estate. It also gives its name to<br />
a number of nearby attractions<br />
including Colwick Country Park,<br />
Colwick Racecourse and<br />
Colwick Woods.<br />
boasts a number of beautiful<br />
buildings. All Hallows Church<br />
with its 180-foot spire provides<br />
a focal point for the village.<br />
The nearby colliery closed in<br />
1991 and some of the land<br />
is being reclaimed to provide<br />
a public recreational space<br />

Lambley<br />
Lambley, formerly part of<br />
Sherwood Forest, is set in the<br />
pretty valley of Cocker Beck. It<br />
contains a number of the 19th<br />
century cottages that have been<br />
renovated to their original glory.<br />
