The SC population <strong>of</strong>
<strong>the</strong> block should be
more than or equal to
20% <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> total
population <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>
block.
The overall literacy <strong>of</strong>
<strong>the</strong> block should be
less than 35%.
Financial Eligibility:
The Agency / Firm
should have <strong>the</strong>
experience <strong>of</strong>
handling <strong>the</strong> financial
resources <strong>of</strong> more
than Rs. 50 lakhs per
Annum for <strong>the</strong> last
three consecutive
years.
submission <strong>of</strong> proposal is kept on 15 th October 2012,
proposals from agencies are invited and shall be
accepted throughout <strong>the</strong> year. The evaluation
committee at <strong>the</strong> state <strong>of</strong>fice <strong>of</strong> OSFDC shall review
<strong>the</strong> proposal on quarterly basis and communicate to
<strong>the</strong> respective agencies.
Consortium is not allowed for submitting
proposals. The eligibility criteria may be read as
“The organization/Institution should be a not for
pr<strong>of</strong>it organization such as Govt. registered societies,
VOs, Not for pr<strong>of</strong>it making agencies, Community
based institutions/ Societies registered under <strong>the</strong>
concerned Indian Laws”.
It is clarified that <strong>the</strong> blocks having SC BPL families
constituting 20% or more <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> total should be <strong>the</strong>
priority blocks. However, <strong>the</strong> condition <strong>of</strong> 20% SC
population as a criteria for selection <strong>of</strong> blocks is
removed.
It is clarified that each <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> proposals submitted
should cover at least 150-200 SC BPL families.
The criteria is removed.
The financial Ceiling <strong>of</strong> Rs. 50 Lakh as annual turn
over <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> agency for <strong>the</strong> last three financial years is
reduced to Rs. 30 lakhs per annum for <strong>the</strong> last
three consecutive years. The details <strong>of</strong> annual
turnover and net worth duly signed by a Charted
Account for different financial year is to be
mentioned in <strong>the</strong> proposal.
