ST. MARY’S REFURBISHMENT
PROJECT
The PCC and Congregation of St.
Mary’s Church, Crosthwaite have
agreed to embark upon a project to
extend the church building to provide
disabled toilet facilities, an indoor toilet
and a new vestry, as well as upgrading
the existing kitchen facilities. Plans for
these works have been drawn up and a
faculty has been requested from the
Diocese.
A number of fundraising activities are
planned over the coming year to help
finance these works and St. Mary’s very
much hopes all in Crosthwaite will
become involved in one way or another.
Our aim is to raise the funds needed and
complete the works by next June, but to
have fun in the process. We are starting
off with the following events:
READY, STEADY, COOK!!!
27 JUNE—7 P.M.—Memorial Memorial Hall
This culinary evening is being hosted by
PAMPERED CHEF, the company that
offers kitchen gadgets and tools to make
light work of any meal. Their recipes are
easy to follow and two lucky contestants
will get the chance to compete in the Red
and Blue kitchens to be crowned
Crosthwaite’s top chef!.
All ingredients and equipment will be
provided by PAMPERED CHEF, so all you
need to do is turn up and enjoy an evening
of fun and entertainment.
