ST. MARY’S REFURBISHMENT<br />
PROJECT<br />
<strong>The</strong> PCC <strong>and</strong> Congregation <strong>of</strong> St.<br />
Mary’s Church, <strong>Crosthwaite</strong> have<br />
agreed to embark upon a project to<br />
extend the church building to provide<br />
disabled toilet facilities, an indoor toilet<br />
<strong>and</strong> a new vestry, as well as upgrading<br />
the existing kitchen facilities. Plans for<br />
these works have been drawn up <strong>and</strong> a<br />
faculty has been requested from the<br />
Diocese.<br />
A number <strong>of</strong> fundraising activities are<br />
planned over the coming year to help<br />
finance these works <strong>and</strong> St. Mary’s very<br />
much hopes all in <strong>Crosthwaite</strong> will<br />
become involved in one way or another.<br />
Our aim is to raise the funds needed <strong>and</strong><br />
complete the works by next <strong>June</strong>, but to<br />
have fun in the process. We are starting<br />
<strong>of</strong>f with the following events:<br />
READY, STEADY, COOK!!!<br />
27 JUNE—7 P.M.—Memorial Memorial Hall<br />
This culinary evening is being hosted by<br />
PAMPERED CHEF, the company that<br />
<strong>of</strong>fers kitchen gadgets <strong>and</strong> tools to make<br />
light work <strong>of</strong> any meal. <strong>The</strong>ir recipes are<br />
easy to follow <strong>and</strong> two lucky contestants<br />
will get the chance to compete in the Red<br />
<strong>and</strong> Blue kitchens to be crowned<br />
<strong>Crosthwaite</strong>’s top chef!.<br />
All ingredients <strong>and</strong> equipment will be<br />
provided by PAMPERED CHEF, so all you<br />
need to do is turn up <strong>and</strong> enjoy an evening<br />
<strong>of</strong> fun <strong>and</strong> entertainment.<br />
