Sponsored and built three electric cars and a bio‐diesel car for student<br />
competition at Sanilac Area Career Center. All four cars were highly<br />
successful and earned numerous awards.<br />
Implemented a new Special Populations information form which assists<br />
staff in serving TTC students more timely.<br />
Secured numerous grants totaling nearly $35,000. Early Childhood<br />
Professions, Ag Science, Drafting, Electronics, Auto Technology and<br />
Marketing were among the programs receiving funds. Kurt Chrysler<br />
secured an I‐CAR grant totaling over $10,000 to purchase tooling,<br />
equipment and materials to enhance his program. Another improvement<br />
was a long term loan of a “water borne” paint system for the<br />
auto body lab worth over $14,000.<br />
Supported Michigan Works! With 20 “Just Jobs” outlet presentations.<br />
Implemented the hosting of a first time ever Delta College dual enrollment.<br />
Completed 33 different youth club and student forum fundraisers<br />
netting over $18,500 to assist students with CSTO expenses, student<br />
scholarships and to aid the general populous with basic human needs.<br />
Jeremy Glaspie provided a very successful start to the school year by<br />
attending the FFA National Leadership Conference in Indianapolis,<br />
Indiana with six local student officers.<br />
Many TTC staff members earned certifications including CPR/AED and<br />
CPI as well as provided several ISD staff members with forklift training.<br />
Received over 260 sealed bids for used machining equipment in the<br />
former Machine Trades lab. After bids were awarded, we received<br />
over $41,000 in profits.<br />
Created and developed a brand new TTC student award T‐shirt which<br />
recognizes student accomplishments. Marketing student, Sky Walker<br />
created the winning idea for this coveted award.<br />
