Important<br />
“We”, “Us” or “Our” means <strong>RAC</strong> Motoring Services.<br />
“Dealer” means the person you are considering buying the vehicle from.<br />
“You” means the potential purchaser of the vehicle which is the subject of this Report.<br />
“Report” means the document including the <strong>Vehicle</strong> Check List which defines what we check for on the items inspected.<br />
We suggest that you read this Report and the Checklist Definitions Form thoroughly before deciding to buy the vehicle. If you do not<br />
understand or are in any doubt as to any element of the report or any item in the checklist please refer to your Dealer.<br />
What the <strong>Vehicle</strong> Inspection Covers<br />
The report summarises the outcome of the <strong>Vehicle</strong> Inspection we carried out on the vehicle on the date set out overleaf where we<br />
checked the items listed in the Checklist Definitions Form.<br />
We carry out a visual inspection of the vehicle and do not dismantle or remove any parts. The inspection will not identify defects not<br />
present or apparent on the date of the examination. Please note the date of the examination. This report is a statement of the condition<br />
of the <strong>Vehicle</strong> on that date using the <strong>RAC</strong> Checklist Definitions Form as the reference point and commensurate with the age and<br />
mileage and vehicle. We cannot be responsible for any change in the condition of the vehicle after the date of the examination.<br />
We cannot verify and do not warrant the accuracy of the mileage reading. Where we have no access to a hoist or pit, we use a<br />
trolley jack to inspect the underbody. If our engineer could not inspect the underbody, the report will explain why.<br />
This report does not comment on cosmetic body condition and / or repairs carried out to a satisfactory standard.<br />
Non-EC <strong>Vehicle</strong>s<br />
If the vehicle has been imported and originates from a non-EC country it may not conform to EC Type Approval and other regulations.<br />
You should seek assurance from the Dealer as to the status of the vehicle in this respect.<br />

We have prepared this report for the Dealer under the terms of a contract between Us and the Dealer. You have no rights under the<br />
contract and nothing in this Report gives rise to contractual relations between Us and You.<br />
Although we recognise that You may use this Report as a guide to the condition of the vehicle, this report is not intended to and does<br />
not constitute a representation by Us that the vehicle is roadworthy, fit for purpose or of satisfactory quality and you must satisfy<br />
yourself in this regard. You acknowledge in buying the vehicle that you do not do so in reliance upon the contents of the report.<br />
