Dr. Tamara C. Kinion, is the President and Founder of Arlington Dental Solutions (ADS), General Family Dentistry located in the
heart of Arlington, Virginia. Doctor Tamara Camille Kinion is a native of Pennsylvania and has been living in the Metropolitan
area for the past twelve years. She graduated with honors from West Chester University with a B.S. in Chemistry-Biology. Tamara
completed her dental degree from Howard University and her general residency at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Washington, DC.
Dr. Garrett’s advanced certifications and experience in the latest cutting edge dental procedures such as Zoom Advanced Lazer
Whitening and Invisalign, give her patients an advantage in both treatment and cosmetic options.
She has done extensive work and dental education and training with the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital. She was responsible for identifying
program needs, defining objectives, and providing recommendations on operation matters as a result of dental evaluations and
observations of clinical training. She established hygiene standards, created standardized oral evaluations. She also prepared task
performance checklists to include additional duties as lead assistant to the primary Senior Veteran’s Dental examiner. She also
developed training material to include procurement and maintaining of dental equipment.
Mrs. Kinion is also a Vice President (VP) of Marketing and Public Relations with The Kinion Group, LLC (TKG). She has helped with the
organization to manage the long and short-term training plans concerning the command-wide implementation of career development
principles and practices. The Kinion Group, LLC (TKG) is a privately held, service disabled veteran, and minority owned small
business that provides solutions in security, and small business innovative research to government and private industry. Our innovative
methodology provides education and training services that allow our customer’s to achieve their maximum effectiveness through highquality,
educationally sound, and mission-critical training. Our training team provides a wide range of services from designing custom
training solutions to outsourcing the development of training requirements based on a needs assessment. Our goals are to meet the
education and training needs through a variety of learning tools: online, distance learning, computer-based training or instructor led.
Our philosophy is flexible to meet the continuing challenges of education and training into the future.
The organization trains and educates over 130 military, government, and civilian personnel in anti-terrorism measures and force protection
procedures. Mrs. Kinion brings experience in education and professional development. She helps the organization formulate, research,
and recommends career development paths, for performance improvement methods and strategies applicable to TKG initiatives. She also
designs and develops course materials based on task analysis of education program for Organizational Development and Leadership with
the University of Phoenix. Her extensive background in Dental education within the National Capital Region and her major contributions
to TKG makes her a prime candidate for being one of the most powerful women minorities in business.
