Come join the Senior Winter Social at Atkinson Community Center on Thursday, January
31 st , 2013 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm. It will be free of charge for Atkinson Senior citizens over
65 years old. There will be light lunch, dessert and wonderful entertainment; Atkinson
Academy Choir group. Please call Noriko at 362-5531 to reserve your seat by January
24th. Please bring canned food to donate to the local food pantries.

Valentine Party with Salem Senior Center at Harris’ Pelham Inn Thur. 2/14/13 11am - 3pm
Valentine’s Party on Thursday, February 14 th at Harris’ Pelham Inn with entertainment by a
young crooner Gian Faraone, who incorporates the signature sounds of the greatest voices
of the 20th century, from Pavarotti to Sinatra. Cost for Atkinson seniors is $20 pp, which
includes dancing, dinner (full Turkey dinner), show, and gratuities (other town seniors $28,
the Atkinson Recreation Senior program will pick up $8 per Atkinson senior). Please RSVP to
Noriko 362-5531 and payment is due by January 31 st . Transportation is own.
Day Trip to Mohegan Sun Casino _ Thursday, 2/28/13 8 am ~ 7 pm
Leave the Atkinson Community Center at 8:00 a.m. and return at 7:00 p.m. The cost of this
fun trip is $20.00 for Atkinson residents, and $25.00 for non-residents, which includes deluxe
coach bus ride and $20.00 value bonus coupon ($10 meal and $10 Match game). The bus

Our deluxe coach bus leaves from Atkinson Community Center at 12:00 p.m. stop at
“Cheesecake Factory “ in Boston for lunch. We arrive at Seaport world Trade Center Boston
by 3:00 pm, and leave from Word Trade Center at 6:00 p.m. and return to Atkinson
approximately at 7:00 p.m. The cost of this great trip is $25.00 for Atkinson residents and
$30.00 for non-residents, which include deluxe bus ride and ticket for the show. Bus driver’s
gratuities or lunch at “Cheesecake Factory” are NOT INCLUDED. To make reservation and

Foxwoods Casino and “Texas Tenors” Show in Fox Theatre. Thu., 5/16/13 7am ~ 7 pm
In addition to regular casino trip to Foxwoods, you will enjoy this show; straight from
America’s Got Talent and of worldwide fame, The Texas Tenors will bring their unique blend
of opera, pop, and country music, seasoned with a Texas flavor to the Fox Theater at the Fox
woods on Thursday, May 16 th , 2013. This tremendous group is in demand in top venues all
over the world such as Branson, Great Britain, China, and Australia, and it is a true honor to
have them perform for us at Foxqwoods. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity! Our deluxe
coach bus will leave from Atkinson Community Center at 7:00 am and returned to Atkinson
approximately 7:00 pm. This trip cost $54 - per person for Atkinson residents, which includes
Red Seating at the Fox Theatre (2 pm Show), Foxwoods Bonus package (Free lunch Buffet
and Kino game), deluxe motor coach transportation and bus driver’s gratuities.

3 Days Pennsylvania Trip-“NOAH” at the Millennium Theater, Amish Country, and more

The Atkinson Recreation is sponsoring the 3 Days trip to Penn state; Bethlehem, Reading
and Lancaster from Monday, April 22 nd to April 24 th . This travel arrangement is provided by
the Tours of Distinction of East Windsor, CT. The costs of this trip are $405 each in Double
room, $385 each in Triple and $490 in Single for Atkinson residents and add $20 for each
room for non-Atkinson residents, which include deluxe motor coach transportation, 2 nights
at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Hotel tax and baggage handling, full hot breakfast both mornings,
dinner & show at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dinner at the Shady Maple Smorgasbord, Wine &
Cheese reception at the hotel, “NOAH” at the Millennium Theater, Sands Casino $35.00
bonus, Amish Country sightseeing Tour, Tours of Distinction Escort, and all the tips for
Escort, Driver, & Amish Guide.
Tour deposit of $50.00 each is due with reservation by February 1 st , 2013 and the balance
due is Mach 22 nd 2013. The Tours of Distinction offers trip insurance, which is optional, but
highly recommended. The cost is only $28 each for passengers in Single and Double rooms
and $21 for those in Triple Rooms. Optional Trip insurance should be bought at the time of
deposit. Both insurance and deposit checks payable to “Tours of Distinction”.
Cancellations 45 days or more ahead receive a Full Refund, 44 ~ 15 days ahead are
charged a $50 fee, 14 ~ 1 day ahead forfeit 50% of tour cost plus any non-refundable tour
expenses. There is No Refund for cancellation on the day of departure. Please call Noriko at
