• Nitrogen, phosphorous and carbon turnover and gaseous emissions after<br />

application to soil of treated and untreated organic residues (animal manure, olive<br />

mill waste, sludges).<br />

• Effect of the incorporation of nitrification inhibitors (DCD and DMPP) with cattle<br />

slurry on the annual ryegrass yield and soil mineral N dynamics after application<br />

to soil.<br />

• Environmental and Analytical Chemistry; Separation and speciation of trace<br />

metals in soils and waters.<br />

• Fluxes and losses of nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium) in dairy and<br />

pig farms.<br />

• Impact of agricultural activities on greenhouse gases and ammonia emissions<br />

• Treatment of solid and liquid effluent from agricultural activities.<br />
