OVERVIEW
Join us and thousands of rail industry customers
at Railway Interchange 2011 in Minneapolis,
Minnesota. Scheduled for September 18 - 21,
2011, this trade show will be one of the largestever
railway event in North America. Railway
Interchange 2011 will give railroaders from
around the world a unique opportunity to see
and hear all that is new and innovative across
the entire rail supply industry. It will feature
hundreds of exhibits, both indoor and outdoor,
and technical sessions on topical issues.
The Minneapolis Convention Center and CP
Rail’s Humboldt Yard offer the best-ever indoor
and outdoor venues for our industry show.
Location & Accommodations
Why Minneapolis
With so much to see and do in downtown
Minneapolis, it’s no wonder that it is the largest
city in Minnesota. Nudged right against the
Mississippi River, the city boasts many urban
attractions such as fi ne dining, shopping, museums,
and world class accommodations. You’ll
have plenty of opportunities to connect after
show hours.
And, if you are into recreational activities you
will fi nd that the Minneapolis area is full of
natural beauty with over 900 lakes nearby.
Kayaking, hiking, and golf courses are also
easily found.
The venue for Railway Interchange 2011 will
be the Minneapolis Convention Center, a trade
show friendly facility with over 480,000 square
feet of space and 87 column-free conference
meeting rooms. The Minneapolis Convention
Center is only 20 minutes from the airport on
the southern edge of downtown Minneapolis.
In addition, the trade show and event center is
connected by climate-controlled skyways to the
downtown hotels, restaurants and shopping.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Railway Interchange 2011 will host several
events, including indoor and outdoor exhibits
and educational sessions. Please note that this
schedule is preliminary and subject to change.
Indoor Tradeshow Exhibits &
Technical Sessions
The indoor tradeshow exhibits and technical
sessions will be located at the Minneapolis
Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota,
located at 1301 2nd Avenue South, Minneapolis,
MN 55403-2710.
The indoor exhibits will be hosted by the Railway
Supply Institute (RSI), the Railway Engineering
& Maintenance Suppliers Association (REMSA),
and Railway Systems Suppliers, Inc. (RSSI).
Mechanical Associations (CMA). Hours have not
been set for the Technical Programs but they will
be held during normal indoor trade show hours.
Outdoor Tradeshow Exhibits
The outdoor exhibits will be held 20 minutes
northwest of the Convention Center at
Canadian Pacifi c’s Humboldt Yard located at
2625 49th Ave N. Minneapolis, MN 55430.
Bus transportation will be provided to and from
the Minneapolis Convention Center and
Humboldt Yard.
Outdoor exhibits will be hosted by the Railway
Supply Institute (RSI) and the Railway Engineering
& Maintenance Suppliers Association
(REMSA).
The technical sessions will be hosted by American
Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-
Way Association (AREMA) and the Coordinated
Schedule subject to change

Accommodations
Located within walking distance of the Minneapolis
Convention Center and local shopping
and dining, the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis
and the Millennium Hotel Minneapolis are both
fantastic and luxurious hotels right in downtown
Minneapolis. Both hotels boast great customer
service, affordable rates, indoor pools and gym
facilities.

Exhibitor Information
Meet your customers in Minneapolis. Exhibiting
at Railway Interchange 2011 brings you faceto-face
with more railroad industry customers
than any other rail supply trade show. Your
target audience will be there waiting for you,
with an expected attendance of over 5,000
customers from all over the rail industry. Railway
Interchange will be the place to market your
products and network with your customers.
RSI member exhibitors can choose from over
100,000 square feet of trade show space and
more than 1.5 miles of combined, outdoor, on-
and off-track exhibits. We work to make exhibit
space prices affordable for all of our members,
in addition, we will host several events on the
trade show floor to keep your customers on the
floor meeting with you and seeing your products.
RSI will have applications available online for
indoor and outdoor (on track and off track)
exhibit space by July 1, 2010. There will be
multi-booth discounts. Remember that to be
an exhibitor, RSI membership in 2010/2011 is
required. All RSI exhibitors must be in “good
standing” status through Railway Interchange
2011.

Exhibit Pricing Estimates for
2010 RSI Members
• Indoor Exhibit:
$1,800 - $2,100 per 10’ x 10’ booth
• Outdoor Off Track:
$2,500 - $3,000 per 10’ x 20’ booth
• Outdoor Track:
$85 - $90 per foot

Exhibit Space Selection
Exhibitors wanting to be in the fi rst round of
exhibit space assignments must have their
applications completed and postmarked on
or before July 30, 2010. Applications are not
considered until a signed application is turned
in via mail (no email or fax), and a 25% nonrefundable
deposit is received.
All Railway Interchange 2011 exhibit space
assignments will be made, whenever possible,
in keeping with the preferences requested by
the exhibitor, based on the availability of a particular
exhibit space. The RSI Program Committee
will try to accommodate all exhibitor requests but
reserves the right to assign closest booth space
available if conditions warrant.
