1. Exhibitor General Information: The Exhibitor General Information packet
available online which includes information about show vendors, registration
hours, a handy exhibitor timeline, and other basic information.

2. Exhibitor Rules & Regulations / Display Guidelines: The official RSI Rules &
Regulations are now available. This includes the display guidelines, insurance
requirements, floor load limits, and other show rules. Exhibitors are
contractually obliged to follow these rules so please look over it carefully and
contact RSI with any questions.

3. Booth Rendering / Drawing due July 1: New this year, only exhibitors with island, split island, peninsula,
and end cap booths must turn in booth renderings to RSI. These requirements must include dimensions in
feet. If you send a picture, you must include dimensions. If possible, please title emails: Your Company
Name, Booth Rendering.
If your company has a basic inline or corner space, you need not turn in a drawing but you must be sure
to follow the Display Guidelines.
The Display Guidelines are located in Section 2, of the Rules and Regulations (pg 7). Call RSI with any
questions about your space.
4. Pop Up Exhibits: Also new this year is a rule on Pop Up Exhibits and back wall coverage. Exhibitors using
Pop Up Exhibits with RSI/REMSA during Railway Interchange/2013 are required to neatly cover the back wall
if visible from the aisle or from another exhibitor’s booth. If back wall is deemed unsightly by Trade Show
Management they may require exhibitors to cover them per exhibitor’s expense. Drape can be ordered from
Freeman.
5. Certificate of Insurance Help Sheet / Sample: Exhibitor Insurance is always a more difficult component of
our trade show. Frequently, they come in incorrectly written or not up to the guidelines. This year, I have
created a Certificate of Insurance memo that is included with the sample insurance form. Please take a look
at the document (it’s very short). If you have any questions please call me.

6. Invite Your Customers to Railway Interchange/2013: While we are working hard to invite your rail industry
customers to attend the show, we want to encourage you all to do the same by letting them know you’ll be
there and that registration fees are very low (free for railroaders).

Exhibitor Badges: As an added feature this year, we have developed a
RSI Railway Interchange/2013 exhibitor badge that you can put on your
website or use for other marketing purposes. Each image links to the
full image URL, ready for download (anyone can right-click and Save or
Ctrl-click on a Mac and Save). They’re all PNG images with transparent
backgrounds, best for publishing online.

7. Advertise on the RSI RI/13 Floor Plan: The RSI /13 Interactive Floor Plan (view here) has opportunities for
advertisements. This page is viewed by attendees and exhibitors alike. All RSI marketing materials point to
this site and the official Railway Interchange/2013 website (www.railwayinterchange.org) also includes a link.
The cost will be $500. If you’d like to place your logo / banner on the RSI Floor Plan please contact RSI for
details.
