Inter-community “A” <strong>and</strong> “B” Baseball<br />

Now in its 30th year, the Inter-community Baseball league features<br />

home <strong>and</strong> away games against other communities including<br />

Hampstead, Montreal West, TMR <strong>and</strong> Westmount. Players receive<br />

full uniforms <strong>and</strong> qualified coaches teach players all aspects <strong>of</strong><br />

the game. Children who wish to play either “A” or “B” baseball<br />

must attend the “A” try-outs. Children who do not qualify for an “A”<br />

team will be able to play on a “B” team. Tryouts begin in early April.<br />

Levels <strong>and</strong> Fees<br />

1. Mosquito “A”—for children born 2004 to 2006—Fee: $175<br />

2. Mosquito “B”—for children born 2004 to 2006—Fee: $175<br />

3. Peewee “A”—for children born 2002 to 2003—Fee: $175<br />

4. Peewee “B”—for children born 2002 to 2003—Fee: $175<br />

5. Bantam “A”—for children born 2000 to 2001—Fee: $200<br />

6. Midget “A”—for children born 1997 to 1999—Fee: $200<br />

Parents must also leave a uniform deposit fee <strong>of</strong> $75,<br />

postdated to June 30, 2015. The cheque will be returned<br />

when the uniform is returned to the Samuel Moskovitch<br />

Arena. Cheques are all made payable to ‘‘City <strong>of</strong> Côte Saint-<br />

Luc’’.<br />

Schedule<br />

The league begins on Friday, May 1, 2015. Semi-final day is<br />

on Saturday, June 13, 2015 (or a rain date <strong>of</strong> Sunday, June<br />

14, 2015). Games <strong>and</strong> practices vary <strong>and</strong> can take place on<br />

any day <strong>of</strong> the week.<br />

organized by the McGill Redmen <strong>and</strong> the<br />

Concordia Stingers baseball teams.<br />

Minor House League Baseball<br />

Côte Saint-Luc is mad about baseball. We start training kids early to love the game. Our house league is a joint baseball program<br />

with the Town <strong>of</strong> Hampstead.<br />
