To draw an ellipse:<br />
a. With pen, mark the separation <strong>of</strong> the foci.<br />
b. Stick a fastener through each focus.<br />
c. Drape a string loop over the fasteners.<br />
d. Pull the string taut with the tip <strong>of</strong> a pencil and draw the ellipse.<br />
e. Label the ellipse (comet, Pluto, Earth, or asteroid)<br />
