$10 and (five) $5 Raffle prizes, the Calcutta give‐a‐ways,
the membership drawing, lottery tickets for June
Birthdays, and enjoy several games of Bingo. Our guest
speaker will be Gale Cerabona from Central Baptist
Village.
Next week our diocese will take up the Peter’s Pence
Collection, which provides the Holy Father with the
funds he needs to carry out his most important
charitable works. The proceeds benefit the most
disadvantaged: victims of war, oppression, and natural
disasters. Through your generosity, we can cast the
peace of Christ upon the world.

Shrine of Christ’s Passion Trip
The Women’s Club of Divine
Savior extends an `open invitation’
to their upcoming trip to the
Shrine of Christ’s Passion in St.
John, Indiana on Tuesday,
September 27, 2011. The Shrine of
Christ’s Passion is an interactive half‐mile winding
pathway that begins with the Last Supper and Garden of
Gethsemane. You will journey through the Passion of
Christ as depicted in the Stations of the Cross. There are
40 life size bronze statues. You will hear a description of
the scene along with a meditation narrated by veteran
broadcaster Bill Kurtis. Electric carts are available for
disabled visitors. The 33 foot statue of Our Lady of the
New Millennium’s permanent home is at the Shrine. In
addition to the above, we will be touring St. John the
Evangelist Catholic Church and lunching at the Country
Buffet. Cost of the trip is $40.00 and is open to everyone
but is limited to the first 50 paid participants.
The bus leaves Divine Savior’s back parking lot promptly
at 8:30 AM and returns by 5:30 PM. For reservations or if

Peter and Tessie Wang who recently celebrated 40 years
of the Sacrament of Marriage with a blessing and
renewal of vows on Saturday, June 11th at the 4:00 PM
Liturgy. May God grant them many more years of
happiness and good fortune in Him.
