Match Enhancement
In 2012 the Blues had the opening match of the
season against the Crusaders. We kicked off the
season with fantastic covers band, ‘The CVE’,
entertaining the crowd with well-known favourite
tracks as they arrived at the park. We also had both
the Blues and Crusaders giant jerseys provided by
BNZ out on the field as the teams ran for the match.
to run on Monday 14th May at Ponsonby
Rugby Club. We had invited a number of schools
from the Auckland and North Harbour region but
unfortunately the weather did not hold out for us
and we had to cancel this event. We still delivered
the posters and goody packs to the schools but
it was disappointing we could not give the kids
the experience of meeting the Blues players and
participating in the skills and drills activities.
