CURRENT POSITION
Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals New Delhi
Senior Consultant Internal & Hyperbaric Medicine – April 98 to date

Starting with no experience in the nuances of clinical practice leading to well established clinical
practice in the largest corporate hospital in northern India in a span of 10 years.
By bringing in management principles the practice has evolved from being individual driven to
“managing” the practice giving adequate time towards the parallel activity of healthcare strategy
consulting.
The “grass root” touch with clinical practice translates into significant contributions when designing
healthcare systems for clients
The hospital policy allows flexibility to “Fee for Service” clinical consultants to manage their own time
(as against a salaried employee) and the healthcare consulting is without conflict of interests.
