For the sports-minded person, <strong>Columbia</strong> offers many fun activities and<br />

ways to keep in shape no matter what your age. Recreational<br />

opportunities are available at area parks, golf courses, tennis courts,<br />

swimming pools, bowling alleys, roller rinks and athletic clubs. The Activity &<br />

ARC/ has an indoor leisure pool featuring a triple loop slide, large<br />

gymnasium hosting two full basketball courts, group exercise room, stateof-the-art<br />

<strong>Columbia</strong>ns enjoy many spectator sports such as South East Confrence MU<br />

Tiger basketball and football as well as NCAA Division I baseball, wrestling,<br />

volleyball, softball, gymnastics and track and field. With their new acceptance<br />

into the SEC, Mizzou is sure to bring a growing crowd of fans to all sporting<br />

Nifong Park, Grindstone Nature Area, Stephens Lake Park, <strong>Columbia</strong> Skate Park and Capen Park. In addition to<br />

offering life enrichment classes, Parks & Rec also organizes sports leagues for all ages such as softball, soccer<br />
