Instruments Instruments from DENTSPLY Ash ® Extreme Comfort Risk factors for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) or Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) include repetitiveness, force and mechanical stress 1 , all of which relate to the use of dental instruments. Flexichange ® instruments are designed to mitigate these factors through the provision of: • Soft silicone handles, textured for grip and control, • Hard tips that stay sharper for longer 2 , • Large diameter, round handles, 3 • Appropriate weighting 4 . Changeable Tips Flexichange instruments can be purchased as a complete instrument or you can buy tips and handles separately. That means you can replace worn tips at a fraction of the cost of replacing the whole instrument, or you can create a unique range of colour coded instruments to match your own personal preferences.
