Can a functional orthotic environment
change the deformity evolution?
• KiddieGAIT is a ground reaction AFO made in
composits to enable its dynamic features. It not
olny helps the child through swing face, it also
controlls the mobility of the foot in several planes
during stance.
• KiddieGAIT should be used as a frame to create
an individudally developed orthosis to enhance
gait for children from the age of 9 month.
• KiddieGAIT is an AFO with an open heel and an
anterior plate with energy reflecting features. It is
the foundation to allow and control ankle motion
and create a more functional environment.

SoftSHELL for the smaller sizes (Baby) have a slightly different construction
that needs to be combined with a SoftKIT. The closure is integrated
into the SoftSHELL.
Baby sizes are available in Blue and Pink.
To manufacture an AFO for children with change in
tone, contractures and weakness in the muscles is a
major challange.
A lot of different things is going on ”from the top
and down” (the brain controlling gait) and at the
same time ”from the ground and up” (ground, foot,
lower leg and orthosis). Everything effecting each
other, which makes the need for a functional dymanic
chain of movement so important.
Our aim is to create a dynamic and functional
chainreaction with a controlled movement instead
of immobilization and inhibition for structures that
is already weak and with low functionallity when it
is possible.
KiddieGAIT is now available in three smaller
”baby” sizes as a complement to the ToeOFF ®
Family of products!
