Clean and check valves.
Check muffler, replace if necessary.

Replace spark plug with manufactures suggested type spark plug.
Lubricating
viscosity?
Worn
rings?
oil is wrong
Replace lubricating oil with correct viscosity.
Replace rings
A ir cleanner clogged?
Clean or replace air cleaner.
Exhaust color is continiously
"BLACK"
Choke valve has not been set
to the correct position?
Carburetor defective, seal on
carburetor broken?
Poor carburetor adjustment
"engine runs too rich?
Adjust choke valve to the correct position.
Replace carburetor or seal.
Adjust carburetor.

Malfunction in air-cleaner system,
air filter clogged?
Defective or worn drum support
brackets?
Adjust or replace seals.
Clean or replace air filter.
Apply grease to bracket or replace.
B lades adjusted too tight?
Adjust blades until they almost touch side walls of drum.
Loss
of power.
L ow hydraulic fluid
Check hydraulic fluid sight glass. Add fluid if low.
