Ross .
Grading: Homework: 20%, Midterm: 35 %, Final: 45 % .
This Syllabus gives a general idea of the progress of the class.
There will be variations depending on how fast certain topics are
understood .
Midterm date: Will be either May 8 or May 11
Final date: Thursday, June 11 12:003:00 P.M.

We will cover the following topics:
1. Metric spaces.
2. Differentiation and integration of power series.
3. Differentiation: Basic properties, Mean value Theorem.
4. Differentiation:: L’Hôpital rule, Taylor’s theorem.
5. Integration: Riemann integral.

6. Fundamental Theorem of calculus.
7. Integration: Riemann-Stieljes integral.
8. Sequences and series of Power functions.
9. Uniform convergence.
