III Vs immature squamous metaplasia)<br />
• P16 positivity indicates integration <strong>of</strong><br />
high risk HPV virus<br />
• Positive defined as cytoplasmic and<br />
nuclear staining <strong>of</strong> full thickness <strong>of</strong><br />
epithelium. Basal staining may be seen<br />
but may not be significant.
