You must maintain a minimum

Advisers first!
• Clump classes together (there will
always be 10 minutes between)
• Avoid scheduling more than 3 classes
back to back.
• Register for electives/context credits
that you’ll enjoy
• Duration 1 courses run from Sept-April
• Duration 2 courses run from Sept-Dec
• Duration 3 courses run from Jan-April
• Ensure that you have the Prerequisite
for each course
Remember to ask yourself:
✔ Are you living on or off campus?
✔ Are you participating in athletics or
extracurricular activities?
✔ Do you have a part-time job?
✔ Are you a morning or a night person?
✔ Do you learn better in three one-hour
lectures or in one three-hour lecture?

• 8th: First day of fall/winter session,
duration 1 and duration 2, day and
evening sections, undergraduate
program.
• 23rd: Brock Registration System
closes for duration 1 and duration
2 courses; last day to drop courses
without financial penalty.
October
• 10th: Thanksgiving Day
University closed (no classes)
November
• 4th: Last date for withdrawal from
Duration 2 courses without academic
penalty
December
• 1st: Last day of lectures, fall term,
duration 2 courses.
• 7th-20th: Duration 1 progress
exams and duration 2 final exams
• 23rd: University closes at 12 noon.
• 9th: First day of winter term classes.
• 20th: Last day for duration 3 late
registration and course changes.
Brock Registration System closes for
duration 3 courses; last day to drop
courses without academic penalty.
February
• 20th: Family Day. University closed.
• 20th to 24th: Reading Week.
No classes will be held.
March
• 9th: Last date for withdrawal from
Duration 3 courses without academic
penalty.
April
• 6th: Good Friday. University closed.
• 9th: Last day of lectures for durations
1 and 3 courses.
• 10th to 25th: Final examinations for
duration 1 and duration 3 courses.
