When a single-sided, Extinguishable Message Sign (EMS)
offering high visibility is needed, look no further than Myers/
NuArt. Our EMS fixture is ideal for roadway, tunnel, and parking
applications.

MAIN BODY:
Fabricated from 0.063" aluminum sheet and 0.125" structural
angle frame to form a weathertight enclosure. The front
housing consists of a hinged door to give access to internal
wiring and service to lamps. Standard finish is matte black
powder coat paint.
LENS:
Clear acrylic plastic in an extruded aluminum frame. Message
blocked out on black surface, clear letters, gray background.
Message legible when viewed from a distance up to 200 feet.
When sign is not illuminated, face appears blank.

LAMPS:
Length and lamp quantity dependent on message required.
Lamps (T12/VHO type - 1500 MA, T12/HO type - 800 MA)
supplied with fixture.

BALLAST:
Specially designed with dimming and flashing characteristics,
the fluorescent ballast is capable of starting specified lamps at
-20° F, 120 V input. Ballast is individually fused with panel
mounted fuse and fuse holder.
MOUNTING:
Mounting brackets are designed to rigidly fix the sign to the mast
arm or upright as specified.
