DESCRIPTION<br />
IP 66 Sealsafe ® urban and road lighting luminaire, the<br />
Furyo is available in three sizes and can be fitted with<br />
several types of lamps: Cosmopolis, high-pressure<br />
sodium and metal halide with ceramic arc tube up to<br />
250 W.<br />

reflectors specifically developed for the arc tubes of<br />
new-generation lamps, the Furyo offers an innovative<br />
solution for “The Right Lighting”:<br />
- the right level using less energy;<br />
- the right level using less materials;<br />
- the right level at a lower cost.<br />
The body of the Furyo is made from painted die-cast<br />
aluminium alloy. The self-cleaning protector is made<br />
from tempered glass and is sealed to the body of the<br />
luminaire and the optical compartment.<br />

HiR ® (HIGH REFLECT) REFLECTORS<br />
As a world premier, Schréder is using multi-layer reflectors for public lighting.<br />
These new reflectors have a 95% reflective coefficient, which represents a<br />
significant gain. Compared with current anodised reflectors,<br />
a luminance increase of 20% can be achieved for certain installations.<br />
THERMAL COMPARTMENTALISATION<br />
The new-generation lamps use an electronic ballast. Since the performance<br />
and longevity of electronic ballasts drop significantly with rising ambient<br />
temperature, Schréder has innovated by separating the control gear<br />
compartment from the lamp compartment, thereby ensuring a long life for<br />
electronic components.<br />
HiR ® reflector<br />
SELF-CLEANING GLASS<br />
The Furyo is equipped with a glass protector that has been treated with a<br />
self-cleaning coating which makes the surface hydrophilic. Raindrops spread<br />
out over the glass in the form of a film of water and wash away the residue,<br />
decomposed by the natural UV rays.<br />
The self-cleaning glass associated with Sealsafe ® enables a maintenance factor<br />
of near 1 to be reached.<br />
RAPID and SAFE MAINTENANCE<br />
Thermal compartmentalisation<br />
Rapid access to the lamp, from the front and without tools, reduces<br />
maintenance time to a minimum. Unlocking is achieved in a single movement<br />
and provides immediate, automatic disconnection of the power supply.<br />
Associated with a double gasket system, this rapid access guarantees the<br />
luminaire’s IP 66 Sealsafe ® characteristics.<br />

Lighting without taking into account the environmental impact is no longer acceptable, and sustainable development is<br />
becoming a priority for those in charge of public infrastructures. The Furyo range is the most complete solution that Schréder<br />
