INDUSTRY PROFILE
PRODUCTIVITY INC
EXPANDS FABRICATION LINES
Competition from overseas is growing. The labor pool
at home is shrinking. It’s getting harder to compete
without investing in automation and technology.
Since 1968, Productivity has helped
many local companies remain
competitive by providing solutions
with superior CNC equipment.
Backed by one of the largest service
and engineering departments in the region as well as a
complete line of machine solutions, Productivity has
built a reputation among manufacturers as being more
than just a distributor.
Complete Line of Fabricating Equipment
In addition to its standard machining lines,
Productivity offers a full line of fabricating equipment.
From a simple press break application all the way up
to a fully automated fabricating system, Productivity
provides a solution for every need and budget.
“We expanded our line of fabrication equipment
for a couple of reasons,” said Andy Archer, sales
manager. “First, we’re seeing a greater demand
from companies that need fab equipment to stay
competitive. Second, we wanted to make sure we
had a solution for every company, from two-man
job shops to large corporations.”
Productivity’s line of fabrication equipment includes
sawing, waterjet, automated metal fabrication, fine
plasma, laser cutting, and CNC punching, press
brakes and shears. They are built by world-class
manufacturers with a solid reputation, including
Prima, Behringer, Durma, Gasparini, Komatsu,
Salvagnini and Omax.
