As a licensed REALTOR ® and instructor, I find it amazing that many agents are only touching<br />

the surface of connectMLS . Using tools that you already have is the best way to build a<br />

1. Go paperless! Go paperless! Did you know that our<br />

MLS has a transaction management tool? Most agents<br />

don’t! Whether you’re on the listing or sale side of a<br />

transaction, you can manage your deal from contract<br />

to close using connectMLS . Store public and private<br />

documents, track transaction history, invite your<br />

buyers, sellers, attorneys, loan officers, inspector or<br />

anyone that is a party to the transaction to view<br />

documents, history and updates. Yes, you can also<br />

email updates to your participants. Take advantage<br />

of the tool you log into every day when you sign up<br />

for the “Digitally Track Your Transactions - Paperless<br />

Organization” class.<br />

2. Need a good CRM? The MLS is more than a place to<br />

list homes and search for homes. Real estate agents<br />

are able to manage their customer relationship management<br />

database. Agents have the ability to categorize<br />

each client from active, closed, family, friends,<br />

sphere of influence, custom lists and more. From these<br />

lists, you can track where your business comes from,<br />

email your database and print mailing labels. What are<br />

you waiting for? Take the connectMLS “Automated<br />

Prospecting and Farming” class today.<br />

3. Looking for more listings and buyers? If you answered<br />

“yes,” then make sure you’re proficient in Realist ® . Did<br />

you know you can search for expired properties,<br />

pre-foreclosures, move up buyers, tax exemption, map<br />

rubber band searches and more? You can also print<br />

labels, export a list or – do both – in minutes. This is<br />

one of my favorite tools in connectMLS . Why pay for<br />

leads when you can build your own lead generation<br />

mailing lists?<br />

4. Share your listings on social media. The Share My<br />

Listings widget feeds your active listings into a social<br />

media tool that includes share features for Facebook,<br />

Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest and more. Share<br />

your listings automatically to your Facebook Business<br />

Pages. When a home is listed, it auto feeds to Facebook.<br />

When it closes, the home is removed. This is a great<br />

way to market your seller’s home.<br />

5. Become a market expert. With InfoSparks, agents can<br />

share real time data to social media, websites, blogs<br />

and email. Live stats are at your fingertips.<br />
