6. The Two Step C<strong>on</strong>sultati<strong>on</strong> Process<br />

Step 1<br />
n Planning applicati<strong>on</strong>/pre-planning query is made. The planning authority pass this to the<br />
IAA Corporate Affairs Department for review.<br />
n IAA Corporate Affairs Department submit the applicati<strong>on</strong> to the appropriate engineering<br />
experts within IAA for initial analysis.<br />
n If the appropriate engineering experts c<strong>on</strong>sider that the planning proposal does not<br />
infringe the BRA surfaces as described in ICAO EUR DOC 015 then the Corporate<br />
Affairs Department of the IAA is advised that the appropriate engineering experts have<br />
no objecti<strong>on</strong>s to the proposal and step 2 is skipped.
