5 The 1990 Society Members The 1990 Society recognizes our friends who have chosen to leave a lasting legacy to the WCBR Foundation through estate planning. Estate gifts may include charitable gift annuities and beneficiary gifts of life insurance, retirement plans, resident entrance fee refunds, trusts and bequests. Most gifts are directed to the Annual Fellowship Program which provides confidential financial assistance to qualified residents who cannot fully meet the cost of monthly housing fees, non-covered medical expenses, food and other necessities. Donations may also be directed to the Employee Education Program for tuition assistance and other education expenses or the Employee Emergency Program for eligible staff. Foundation support is solely through charitable gifts from residents, trustees, staff, family, friends, congregations and corporations.
