4.2.1 Requirements<br />
• <strong>Plan</strong>ning for access to the Project Area will include:<br />
<strong>–</strong> Identification of existing vehicle washdown facilities <strong>and</strong> planning work around<br />
the location of washdown facilities (refer to Attachment A for a list of public<br />
facilities)<br />
• If applicable, fixed washdown facilities <strong>and</strong> washdown procedures shall comply<br />
with:<br />
<strong>–</strong> Queensl<strong>and</strong> Guideline for the Construction of Vehicle <strong>and</strong> Machinery<br />
Washdown facilities (refer to Section 8)<br />
<strong>–</strong> Queensl<strong>and</strong> Government Checklist for Clean-down (refer to Section 8)<br />
• When moving between ‘dirty’ <strong>and</strong> ‘clean’ areas, within the Project Area, vehicles,<br />
plant <strong>and</strong>/or equipment will:<br />
<strong>–</strong> Be washed down <strong>and</strong> certified clean<br />
<strong>–</strong> Provide/be issued with a <strong>Weed</strong> Hygiene Declaration Form<br />
<strong>–</strong> All vehicles/equipment/plant shall have a Washdown Log (refer to Attachment<br />
B for an example of a washdown log) that must be maintained by the vehicle<br />
operator. This includes washdowns that require certification <strong>and</strong> washdowns<br />
completed by the vehicle operator. Washdown Logs are auditable <strong>and</strong> shall be<br />
provided upon request<br />
• Vehicle operators:<br />
<strong>–</strong> Shall remain on designated access tracks <strong>and</strong> avoid driving through weeds as<br />
far as possible<br />
<strong>–</strong> Must not drive though flowering or seeding plants<br />
• The location of any mature <strong>and</strong>/or seeding weed species is to be reported to the<br />
Company Pipeline Environmental Manager within 24 hrs<br />
4.2.2 Performance Indicators<br />
• <strong>Weed</strong> locations marked on Project maps<br />
• Washdown Logs implemented <strong>and</strong> maintained<br />
• Washdown Logs demonstrate washdown occurring to coincide with<br />
vehicle/equipment/plant movements<br />
• Washdown facilities are available at all times (mobile/temporary units are<br />
available prior to establishment of fixed facilities)<br />
• <strong>Weed</strong> Inspectors present at active washdowns<br />
• No driving through seeding or flowering weed plants<br />
