Parents of kindergarten students at the Jacobs School can meet other parents and perhaps schedule playdates among their children at a brief forum to be held from 2-2:55 p.m. Jacobs Principal Jean Penta and members of the PTO will be in the library for snacks and Pick of the litter This week, HSAR would like to feature Jimmy, an extremely handsome and friendly two-year-old male. He gets along fine with other cats, adores humans, and is more than ready for a home of his own. He’ll make a great companion for most any feline loving family. He’s non-aggressive and still quite playful. If you’ve been considering giving a homeless cat a “home for the holidays,” please visit Jimmy. While you’re at the shelter you can meet all of our very adoptable cats and kittens, including newborns, mousers, tabbies, tuxedos – take your pick. It’s time to visit the shelter if you’re looking for a lovable feline friend. We have open hours on Saturday from 2-3 and Monday from 6:30-7:30. Visit over 60 vendors, including artists, hand-crafted jewelry, the PTO Book Fair, a children’s shopping area, food, and of course a visit and pictures with Santa Claus.
