May General Meeting at California Closet

2012 ASID OC Programs Chair
Our May ASID Orange County General Meeting was held at California Closet
in Huntington Beach.
The helpful and knowledgeable staff of California Closet walked the attendees
in small groups around the showroom and explained about all their
various products and organizing options. After the little tour, a couple of
glasses of wine, appetizers and delicious dinner, it was time to start the program.

CEU on True (Buon)
Fresco: Introduction for
Interior Designers, which
covered the history of
fresco as “The Mother of
All Arts”, and educated
our members on what
buon fresco is. We discovered
fresco is a true green
Kerry Anderson and Steve Huang
and organic art form,
reviewed the techniques, materials, pigments, plasters and textures and how
it can be used in contemporary interior design.
We would like to thank California Closet, especially Todd Jones and Janet
Hutchinson, for hosting a wonderful event and, as always, we would like to
give our appreciation to Kerry Anderson from AudioVison for all his AV help
and set up!
