While at anchor, three robbers boar<strong>de</strong>d the vessel, stole<br />
three mooring ropes and two fire hoses, and escaped. The<br />
inci<strong>de</strong>nt was reported to the Bangla<strong>de</strong>sh Coast Guard, who<br />
procee<strong>de</strong>d towards the location of inci<strong>de</strong>nt immediately<br />
and carried out an extensive search for the robbers but the<br />
robbers were nowhere to be found.<br />

While at anchor, three robbers boar<strong>de</strong>d the bulk carrier. They<br />
broke into the forward store and stole ship’s stores. Duty<br />
A/B and Third Engineer spotted the robbers and raised the<br />
alarm. Upon hearing the alarm, the robbers escaped in their<br />
waiting boat. The port authorities had been informed.<br />

While at anchor, nine robbers armed with knives boar<strong>de</strong>d<br />
the oil tanker. They stole a messenger rope and a mooring<br />
rope before they escaped. Upon receipt of the information,<br />
the Bangla<strong>de</strong>sh Coast Guard <strong>de</strong>spatched a patrol boat to<br />
the location of the inci<strong>de</strong>nt. The Bangla<strong>de</strong>sh Coast Guard<br />
also conducted an extensive search in all probable areas but<br />
could not locate the robbers.<br />

and escaped. Upon receipt of the report, the Bangla<strong>de</strong>sh<br />
Coast Guard <strong>de</strong>spatched a patrol ship to the location of the<br />
inci<strong>de</strong>nt. The crew informed that the robbers had escaped in<br />

The Bangla<strong>de</strong>sh Coast Guard patrol ship carried out an<br />
extensive search for the robbers and at or about 0230 hrs,<br />
they apprehen<strong>de</strong>d three robbers and recovered 40m of rope<br />
from the robbers’ boat.<br />

While at anchor, six robbers armed with long knives boar<strong>de</strong>d<br />
the chemical tanker from two small boats. The robbers held<br />
one of the crew hostage but he managed to free himself<br />
from the robbers. The crew then shouted about the presence<br />
of robbers onboard to alert the other crew. Upon realising<br />
that the crew had been alerted, the robbers escaped with<br />
stolen engine spares.<br />
