For the price conscious, there is now a new model in the<br />
<strong>DISKUS</strong> range: <strong>DISKUS</strong> 400 eco. Like all other TREIF bread<br />
slicers, this machine is multi-purpose and has been constructed<br />
in the new hygiene design.<br />

The operator sets the cutting thickness<br />
using a selector switch. 3 cutting<br />
thicknesses (thin, medium, thick) and<br />
the automatic loaf halving option are<br />
available.<br />
The Teflon-coated blade has unique<br />
toothing and a special grinding finish.<br />
Combined with planetary gearing,<br />
these features allow fresh bread to be<br />
sliced without blade lubrication.<br />

The offcuts are minimal, as here when<br />
slicing white bread.<br />
The automatic slice holder supports<br />
the slices during the slicing process,<br />
making it easier to remove the bread.<br />
The slice holder swivels back automatically<br />
after slicing. One less action<br />
for the operator. Your customers are<br />
served faster.<br />
An easily removable tray successfully<br />
catches all the crumbs. This is assisted<br />
by guide plates etc. The crumb<br />
tray can be emptied and brushed out<br />
in no time. Bread cannot be sliced<br />
more hygienically than this.<br />
A glance into the bread removal area shows just how much more hygienic the<br />
<strong>DISKUS</strong> 400 eco has become. The numerous crumb slots make cleaning easier.<br />

Smooth slicing thanks to planetary gearing<br />
Thanks to the planetary gearing, the circular blade<br />
moves through the loaf with a very long cutting<br />
length. This creates a more precise, yet smoother<br />
cut which is very gentle on the loaf.<br />
