AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT AWARD FOR RIVER <strong>PARK</strong> ARTIFICIAL TURF<br />
AND TRACK RENOVATION: (12)<br />
ORDERED, that the Board of Commissioners of the Chicago Park District (the “Board”) It is<br />
recommended that the General Superintendent and CEO or his designee enter into a contract with<br />
Friedler Construction for the renovation of the River Park Artificial Turf and Track. The contractor<br />
was selected pursuant to bidding. No work may commence and no payment shall be made to<br />
contractors prior to the execution of a written agreement.<br />
That pursuant to requests for proposals or sealed competitive bids heretofore advertised, received, and<br />
opened, publicly read aloud, or Non-Competitive Procurement, Chapter XI, Section D (1), of the Chicago<br />
Park District Code and referred to the Committee for recommendation of award, in accordance with the<br />
provisions of the Code of the Chicago Park District, the following are hereby determined to be either<br />
the lowest responsible bidder, or the most qualified proposer, proposing to furnish the supplies,<br />
materials, equipment and services provided for in the respective specifications and in accordance with<br />
the prices, terms, and conditions of the awardee’s proposal or bid.<br />

Commissioner Koldyke moved that the matter be adopted.<br />
The motion prevailed and the matter was adopted by a roll call vote of yeas and nays as<br />

FOOTBRIDGE AND NORTH STAIR IN GRANT <strong>PARK</strong>: (13)<br />
ORDERED, that the Board of Commissioners of the Chicago Park District (the “Board”) It is<br />
recommended that the General Superintendent and CEO or his designee enter into a contract award<br />
with F.H.Paschen, S.N.Nielsen & Associates, LLC, for the Restoration of the Van Buren Footbridge and<br />
North Stair in Grant Park. The contractor was selected pursuant to a publicly advertised Invitation for<br />
Bid. No work may commence and no payment shall be made to contractor prior to the execution of a<br />
written agreement.<br />
That pursuant to requests for proposals or sealed competitive bids heretofore advertised, received, and<br />
opened, publicly read aloud, or Non-Competitive Procurement, Chapter XI, Section D (1), of the Chicago<br />
Park District Code and referred to the Committee for recommendation of award, in accordance with the<br />
