8th Grade US History<br />
Students in 8th grade have been studying the causes <strong>of</strong> the<br />
<strong>American</strong> Revolution. Using a variety <strong>of</strong> hands-on activities and<br />
interactive technology, students have examined the political,<br />
philosophical, economic, and cultural influences on the<br />
Revolution.<br />
In addition to learning about US history, our 8 th grade<br />
students have been participating in weekly debates on current<br />
global issues. These debates have been a great way for students<br />
to place historical events from class in a larger context, as well as<br />
to stay informed about important global events.<br />
