experience to the team. After a long, successful career at the prep level, he brings enormous energy,
enthusiasm and technical knowledge of the game with him to Limestone. In addition to his coaching
acumen, Scott has played at a very high level for many years, in both indoor and outdoor volleyball.
He will assist in all facets of the program.
Volunteer Assistant: Bradley Smith
Bradley Smith will assist in training the team again this year. Coach Smith is one of the top men’s
indoor volleyball players in the Carolinas. He recently received the 2004 All-Region award and his
tournament, held in Denver, CO. Smith will provide expertise in training middle and outside hitters,
along with general attacking and blocking techniques.
Student Assistant: Talayna Akrie
team, Talayna Akrie is assisting Coach Tim Loesh this season while
completing her degree in Psychology at Limestone College.
As one of two seniors, and a captain on the 2004 Limestone squad,
Talayna played in 113 out of 115 games for the Saints, and was one of
only three players to play in all 31 matches. During her single season at
Limestone, the starting setter ranked second on the team in both kill
percentage at .224, and service aces with 34. She also led the team with
