Eventually Saint Laurent left for the army and the brand assumed many more creative directors over the years including Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferre, and John Galliano. At present, Raf Simons is assuming this position. xviii It seems as the creative identity of Dior has changes throughout the years with their creative directors, specifically John Galliano and the designers who took over for him.
