Students enter <strong>IFMA</strong> after the "Grandes Ecoles" entrance exams (over 90% of <strong>IFMA</strong> student<br />

engineers) or after 2, 3 or 4 years of higher education in a mechanical speciality. The admission<br />

process includes psychological tests, an interview and oral exams in 2 foreign languages.<br />

• INTERNATIONAL: the student wishes to progress in varied and changing international and<br />

and Development) or else wishes to continue his or her studies to prepare a doctorate.<br />

• ENTERPRISE: the student is interested in the creation or purchase of a company.<br />

• THEMATIC: the student wishes to acquire greater expertise in a particular discipline (logistics,<br />

mechanical design, robotics, etc.)<br />

• SECTORIAL: the student wishes to work in a particular sector of activity (aeronautical,<br />

automotive, rail, consulting, etc.)<br />

Presentations of sectors and businesses are made to students in their first year<br />

to help them construct their program.<br />
