Gas Supply Industry<br />

This industry is particularly demanding and our products have been designed over many years to meet these needs.<br />
Our Metallic hose assemblies are excellent for the aggressive nature of this industry and can be made to various<br />
lengths with numerous end fittings available. We also manufacture the industry recognised Caterflow <strong>Assemblies</strong>,<br />
designed for safe installation of gas appliances.<br />
Caterflow<br />
Caterflow BS669 Part 2 is constructed from 321 Stainless Steel<br />
corrugated inner hose and sleeved with a non chlorinated easy clean<br />
yellow cover.<br />
Fitted with carbon steel BSP Taper Hexagon Male to connect to<br />
any appliance and a brass quick release rotary coupling (valve)<br />
to connect to commercial gas supply. Each hose has a retarding<br />
lanyard to prevent accidental hose damage. Caterflow is designed<br />
and manufactured in accordance to BS669 Part 2 1988. Used on<br />
all commercial ovens by law. Corgi Requirement. Approved by<br />
British Gas.<br />
All Caterflow hoses are pressure tested prior to despatch and are<br />
delivered in a sealed sleeving ready for immediate use. See page 41<br />
Neoprene Ducting<br />
Neoprene N1:<br />
One ply neoprene<br />
coated glass fibre<br />
with a copper plated<br />
spring steel wire helix<br />
to support the structure<br />
and a continuous filament glass cord on the exterior.<br />
Neoprene N2:<br />
Same as above with an additional layer of neoprene coated<br />
glass fibre enclosing the wire helix, giving a smooth bore<br />
ducting.<br />
Neoprene is ideal for the transportation of hot and cold air in<br />
many air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation systems<br />
and hot gases on boilers. See page 50.<br />
