Join the Celebration! UWPIAA Reunion 2004 alumni from 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999 and 2000 will join their castmates, as well as other alumni, family and friends, for the spectacular Tucson 2004 - “Coming Home!” UWPIAA Reunion, July 15-18 at the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort. There are many reasons you won’t want to miss this fabulous reunion! The schedule is jam-packed with fun, entertaining and inspiring sessions designed to give you ample time to visit with old friends, make new connections and reflect on the incredible people and moments that Thank you, Eduardo! On behalf of the Board of Governors of the UWPIAA, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Eduardo Aguirre (84D), who has served on the Board of Governors for the past five years. Eduardo has provided passionate leadership to the BOG, and during his tenure was instrumental in organizing and training era representatives. Eduardo’s contagious enthusiasm and relentless efforts to encourage alumni to attend their reunions convinced alumni year after year to stay in touch with the UWPIAA, update their information on the UWPIAA website and register for the reunion. After his student year, Eduardo worked for UWP for the next ten years. Following life on the road he continued working and volunteering for a myriad of adventures with UWP. His travel experience is vast and overwhelming! His stories are fascinating! My wife Rajean and I have known Eduardo for twenty years, having been Eduardo’s cast directors for Cast E 1984. Eduardo has been a special friend and has always been an important part of our family. Being a student in UWP was a dream come true for Eduardo. One of the most special treasures about Eduardo is that every day of his UWP experience was lived to absolutely the fullest. No one could get more out of a day than Eduardo. Eduardo kept a journal while he was on the road. His experiences and his dreams are recorded on those pages. In the year leading up to our cast’s 15-year reunion, Eduardo would e-mail a page of his journal to our cast. Every morning we would wake up to a new e-mail highlighting a special adventure, an accomplishment, a personal note expressing his feelings. The tears would run down our faces as we relived each experience, but more than that ... we realized how important this year was for this incredible young man. The BOG shall say so long for now as Eduardo ends his service as an era rep, but we celebrate his next adventure as he becomes our new registration manager for the Tucson 2004 "Coming Home" — UWPIAA Reunion. Eduardo, we are forever grateful for all you have given over the years to the Up With People International Alumni Association! It’s time to relive the highlights from your show! • Cast K for Kids – Kids will get Reunion TOC to participate in the show at the President’s Luncheon and learn fun music and movement numbers with the Cast K for Kids staff. Meet other kids and get in on the action! Plus, merchandise and silent auction, Golf Classic, cast photos, era rehearsals, cast meetings and the UWPIAA General Assembly!
