Children’s Activities/Child Care
Cast K for Kids
Think your kids can vamp as well as you did? We
can’t guarantee perfect swing claps, but we can
guarantee your kids will have a great time when
they join Cast K for Kids! This special music and
movement program will provide fun for your kids
while you’re at the Era Receptions and Opening
Session, culminating in a featured performance at
the President’s Luncheon. Cast K is free to kids
ages 6 and up who are registered for reunion.
Refreshments and snacks will be provided for both
sessions (see schedule). No interview required!
Hilton El Conquistador Kids’ Corner
Subject to participation, the Hilton El Conquistador
will provide a “day camp”-type program for
kids ages 5-12. The program would include
activities such as arts and crafts, nature hikes, story
time, putt putt golf, etc. More information will be
posted at www.uwpiaa.org/reunion as it becomes
available.
Child Care/Babysitting Services
Due to liability, neither the UWPIAA nor the
Hilton El Conquistador will provide individual
child care. However, the hotel has provided the
following list of independent babysitters solely for
guests’ convenience.
UWPIAA and the hotel do not assume liability
for babysitters or for service provided, because
service is rendered by independent babysitters not
affiliated with hotel or with UWPIAA. UWPIAA
and the hotel make no representations regarding
qualifications of babysitters or whether the
babysitters or service are bonded or insured.

Eras
This is a term you will see frequently throughout
reunion. It refers to all the casts from a given year.
For example, the 94 era includes Casts A, B, C, D
and E 1994.
Functions/Name Badge
Your reunion name badge (included with your
registration package) will be required for admittance
to all main activities. If you lose your name
badge, the replacement cost is $60.00. Sorry, NO
exceptions.
Alumni Era Show
Each era will have time to rehearse for their
performance. Rooms are provided and preassigned
for rehearsal time. Most rehearsals take
place Saturday, July 17. Band rehearsal space is
available daily starting Wednesday, July 14.
Hotel Rooms
In order to have a smooth check-in at the hotel,
please communicate with all your roommates to
confirm who will be sharing your room BEFORE
making a room reservation. This way, those
arriving early can check into the room, resulting in
less confusion or double booking, which can lead
to greater costs or disappointment for you.
Audio/Visual Equipment
TV/ VCRs and boom boxes will be available.
Some equipment may have an additional charge.
Package Descriptions
Everyone over the age of 2, whether alumni,
guests or family members, must pay a registration
fee and display a name badge to enter any of the
official reunion events (Era Receptions, Cast K for
Kids, Welcome Party with buffet, Friday Continental
Breakfast, Opening Session, President’s
Luncheon, Reunion of the Bands, Era Show and
Vamp Lounge).
Individual
One adult (18 or older), whether alumnus, alumna
or guest. Does not include any children.
Couple/Family
One adult, one spouse/partner and up to two
children aged 3 to 13 years attending official
reunion events. Additional kids aged 3 to 13 years
may be added to a Couple/Family package with a
Child registration. Additional kids aged 14-17
may be added to a Couple/Family package with a
Youth registration. Kids 18 years and over must
register with an Individual package. Children 2
years or younger are free.
Child
One person aged 3 to 13 years, registering in
combination with an Individual or Family package.
Two Child registrations are included in a
Family package. Children 2 years or younger
are free.
Youth
One person aged 14 to 17 years, registering
in combination with an Individual or Family
package.
Transportation
Tucson International Airport
Getting to Tucson
is a breeze. Tucson is
served by 14 different
Hilton El Conquistador
airlines with nonstop
service to 18 cities and
connections to more than 121 destinations. For
more information about airline service to Tucson
from cities throughout the U.S., go to

The Hilton El Conquistador Resort is 21 miles
(approximately a 40 minute drive) from the
Tucson airport. Rental cars and shuttle services are
available at the airport. Airport-to-door shuttle
service is available at www.azstagecoach.com for
$27 one-way per person/$46 roundtrip. Or for two
people $35 one-way/$62 per couple roundtrip
(companions must arrive & depart together).
FREE UWPIAA Shuttle
UWPIAA is providing free shuttle buses from
the Tucson airport to the Hilton El Conquistador
on the hour and half hour during peak arrival
times:
Tucson Airport to Hilton El Conquistador:
Thursday, July 15, from 9am-9pm.
Hilton El Conquistador to Tucson Airport:
Sunday, July 18, from 6am-6pm.
To take the UWPIAA Tucson Airport
Shuttle, you must reserve your seat in the space
provided on the reunion registration form at the
time of your registration. If you do not reserve a
space, we cannot guarantee your seat.
Signs/greeters at the airport will direct you to
the UWPIAA Shuttle.
Note: Additional shuttles and extended hours
may be added based on early arrival numbers.
Please provide your transportation information in
the space provided on the registration form so we
can determine the needs.
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport
Located 110 miles from Tucson and the
Hilton El Conquistador, the Phoenix airport may
offer less expensive choices for flights. Driving
time is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Rental cars are available at Phoenix Sky Harbor
Airport.
Arizona Shuttle from Phoenix Airport to the
Hilton El Conquistador
The Arizona Shuttle provides one-way and
roundtrip transportation from Phoenix Sky
Harbor Airport to several dropoff points in
Tucson. The closest dropoff to the Hilton El
Conquistador is at Ina Road/Interstate 10 (drive
time 1 hour 30 minutes). From there, you can take
a taxi to the Hilton (8 miles/20 minutes) — notify
the shuttle driver when you are near Tucson to
order a taxi.
Arizona Shuttle fare: $25 one-way/$48
roundtrip (Phoenix airport-Tucson)
Approximate Taxi fare from Ina/I-10 to Hilton:
