What I like about working at Big White:
1) The people I’ve met
2) The view I wake up to every morning
3) Small village atmosphere compared to a big city
4) Social aspects
5) Seasons pass
What I like about the front desk job:
1) It’s relatively busy compared to the other hotels which makes the day go faster
2) The rewarding feeling after you have helped someone with a problem or knowing
you’ve contributed to their stay being enjoyable
3) Changing morning and afternoon shifts rather than the same9-5
4) The ‘incentives’ – hockey/bowling
What I don’t like about the Front Desk Job:
1) 8 hours is too long to stand on your feet (but that’s just my opinion)
2) Happy Valley cafeteria makes me feel sick!
3) The shirts we have to wear look like my dad’s shirt – too big and baggy
As much as I can’t wait to go home I loved the experience and will always remember it
and the people I worked with. ☺
