Pursuant to Regional <strong>Memo</strong>randum No. 479, s. 2012 dated Ju1 26. 2012<br />
issued by DEP.ED Region VII, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines. Negros Oriental<br />
Council is participating the One Visa Jnicrç b led at accod C -. or<br />
October 26 - 30. 2012. The purpose of ills reqional event is to provide the Scouts with<br />
opportunity to experience outdoor life in an environment of cooperation, friendship and<br />
camaraderie where they will learn to work together to overcome difficulties and gro-w in<br />
critical thinking. judgment and decision making skiDs that will last for a lifetime.<br />
Oualification of participants:<br />
Scout : Duly registered with the ESP, not less than Ii years Old, nor<br />
more than 18 years old; at least Second Class Rank holder, in<br />
good health.<br />
Adult Leaders : Duty registered with the USP and with at least 2 years<br />
experience as a Unit Leader; preferably with aeic Training<br />
Course!Woodbadce Training; Physically fit and in tood<br />
health.<br />
The Jamboree lee is P3.000.00 for each participant to cover Food good for eight<br />
t8 days, transportation and souvenir item expenses. Deadline for payment is on<br />
October 23, 20121<br />
The standard camping equipment as prescribed in actMies: of this nature<br />
should be brought by every contingent.<br />
The pre-jamboree training will be held on October 24, 2012 at the LISP<br />
Headquarters Dumaguete City from 8:00 a.m.to 6:00 p.m., but all participants shall be<br />
at the same place before 5:00 p.m. on October 23, 2012 because the delegation will<br />
leave for Bacolod City on October 25, 2012 at 7:00 am.<br />
However with respect to participants from Caniaon City, the pre-jambrree<br />
training will be held at their place on October 19. 2012 at 800 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. since<br />
Canlaon City is near Bacolod City and the pai'cipit eea - H b &n s<br />
vehicle.<br />
