impression in fine condition aside from a few skillfully<br />

repaired surface nicks and paper imperfections, with<br />

of Clement XIII, 1761. Etching, 19 x 13 1/4 inches. Focillon<br />

928, Taschen 436. Signed in plate: “I. B. Piranesius<br />

inventi” and lower right: “D. Cunego et Piraneseus<br />

sculpsevunt”. Most likely, Piranesi etched the architecture<br />

and Cunego (1726-1803) etched the portrait. A fine<br />

impression in fine condition aside from minor left crease<br />

and slight foxing in the full margins. $850<br />
