SUNDAY AFTERNOON JAZZ AT JAMISON – 17 JUNE 2012
1.00pm – 4.00pm
The next appearance of the “Canberra Jazz Club Band” at the Southern Cross Club,
Jamison will feature Jim Lole on alto sax, David Lole on piano, Terry Wynn on clarinet, Jim Latta
on drums and Caleb Wearne on string bass.
For all our musician members who may be attending, please note that there will be a sit-in
bracket for the third set so don’t forget your instruments.
Remember, you can join us for lunch in the Bistro from 12.30
Your support of the Southern Cross Club and regular live jazz is much appreciated.
MYSTERY JAZZ IN JULY
For those who enjoy a sense of mystery, you and your friends are invited along on the Canberra
Jazz Club’s winter mystery bus trip on Sunday, 15 July 2012.
We’ll take a short bus ride into the country for a pub lunch by an open fire and three hours of great jazz
brought to you by our mystery quartet.
Cost: $15 per person towards the cost of the bus and the band. Meals will be available for purchase.
Pick up points: bus will depart from Southwell Park (near Yowani Golf Club) at 11.30am and from
Canberra Southern Cross Club, Woden at 11.45am (reverse order this trip).
