Entries will only be accepted from members <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Oshwal</strong> <strong>Association</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>UK</strong>. Pro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> membership will be required.<br />
Each competitor must send in separate entry forms. In a doubles event, a pair will not be entered unless entry forms and fees are received from each player<br />
Any entries received without OA<strong>UK</strong> membership number (parents membership number if under 16) on <strong>the</strong> entry form will be classified as being void<br />
Events will be organised only if sufficient entries are received. Tournament organisers will determine format <strong>of</strong> play per event depending on <strong>the</strong> number <strong>of</strong> entries received for that<br />
category (round robin / knock-out). Detailed rules will be shared with all participants on <strong>the</strong> day <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> tournament<br />
Participants must be at <strong>the</strong> venue at 10.30am prompt, for registration. Play will commence <strong>the</strong>reafter.<br />
Participants who arrive after play has begun will be immediately disqualified. Competitors must register with <strong>the</strong> organisers upon arrival and must not leave <strong>the</strong> premises without<br />
notifying <strong>the</strong> organisers.<br />
No Alcohol is to be allowed on <strong>the</strong> premises by any participants or spectators at any time during <strong>the</strong> tournament<br />
● If any participant is found to have consumed any alcohol he/she will be disqualified immediately from taking any fur<strong>the</strong>r part in this or future events<br />
● If a player or pair is sent <strong>of</strong>f he/she/<strong>the</strong>y will not be allowed to take any fur<strong>the</strong>r part in <strong>the</strong> event<br />
● If a player or a pair is sent <strong>of</strong>f for actual disciplinary measures (e.g. un-sportsmanlike behaviour) <strong>the</strong>n <strong>the</strong> player or pair will be disqualified immediately from taking part in <strong>the</strong><br />
tournament<br />
If spectators are misbehaving <strong>the</strong>n:<br />
i) The spectators will be removed from <strong>the</strong> arena;<br />
ii) If more than a few spectators are involved, <strong>the</strong>n <strong>the</strong> organising committee will take appropriate action<br />

Non-marking indoor rubber sole shoes must be worn in all playing areas. Failure to do so will result in individuals being removed from <strong>the</strong> playing area and/or disqualification<br />
Players MUST bring <strong>the</strong>ir own rackets/bats. Match squash balls, table-tennis balls and shuttlecocks will be provided<br />

Competitors will receive an email confirmation for <strong>the</strong>ir entry. If no such notification has been received 3 days prior to <strong>the</strong> event it is <strong>the</strong> responsibility <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> competitor to enquire<br />
from <strong>the</strong> organisers (see front <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> entry form)<br />

Competitors should bring <strong>the</strong>ir own pack lunch.<br />
RULES FOR YOUR CHOICE OF SPORT (FOR LOGISTICAL REASONS, ON THE TOURNAMENT DAY YOU CAN PARTICIPATE ONLY IN ONE SPORT,<br />
BUT PLAY IN A MAXIMUM OF THREE EVENTS)<br />
A BADMINTON<br />
1. The tournament will be run in accordance with <strong>the</strong> rules <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Badminton <strong>Association</strong> <strong>of</strong> England<br />
2. If <strong>the</strong> response is large, <strong>the</strong>n <strong>the</strong> first few rounds will be <strong>of</strong> only 1 game <strong>of</strong> 21 points, instead <strong>of</strong> best <strong>of</strong> three.<br />
3. First player/pair to reach 21 points will be <strong>the</strong> winner <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> game (setting will be allowed in <strong>the</strong> case <strong>of</strong> 20-20)<br />
4. Yonex Mavis plastic shuttlecocks will be supplied. Fea<strong>the</strong>r shuttlecocks will be available for <strong>the</strong> U21,<br />

B TABLE-TENNIS<br />
1. Each match will be played upto 11 points on a ‘Best <strong>of</strong> Three or Five games’ basis, at <strong>the</strong> discretion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
Organisers on <strong>the</strong> day.<br />
2. All o<strong>the</strong>r rules are as laid down by <strong>the</strong> English Table Tennis <strong>Association</strong>.<br />
3. Full coloured T-Shirts must be worn (excluding white). Failure to do so may result in disqualification from your event<br />
C SQUASH<br />
1. Squash England rules will apply<br />
2. Matches will <strong>the</strong> best <strong>of</strong> 3 or 5 games, at <strong>the</strong> discretion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> competition organisers. Rally point scoring will be<br />
used in each game to 11 (PAR 11).<br />
3. If <strong>the</strong> score in a game is tied at 10-10, a player must win by 2 clear points.<br />
4. The winner <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> preceding game in each match will start <strong>the</strong> serve for <strong>the</strong> next game.<br />
