Precise Flight has designed a full line of Pulselite units
specifically for the airline industry. The Pulselite connects
to the existing light (landing, taxi, recognition, etc.) of
your aircraft. By alternately pulsing these lights, aircraft’s
recognition is greatly enhanced. Along with increased
safety, lamp life is extended as well. Additionally, because
of the lower operating temperatures, the life of lens
covers are also extended. Testing by the US Department
of Agriculture has shown that birds notice vehicles with
pulsing lights quicker than those with steady lights. The
product is used by more than 250 major corporations
in the United States and installed on more than 5,000
aircraft and rotorcraft worldwide. Pulselites are factory
options with British Aerospace, Falcon Jet, Gulfstream,
Cessna and Sikorsky. The FAA has installed Pulselite units
on their entire fleet of aircraft.
