Instructions:
Entire poncho is worked using 2 strands of yarn and
grafted.
Using natural and 2 strands of yarn cast on 122 (134) sts and
work 4 cm in Rib pattern, in the last wrong side row decreasing
1 st = 121 (133) sts. Work in Cable pattern following chart
A. Then work chart B in Stockinette st. At side edges decrease
following chart. The triangles D can be worked using intarsia
or grafting technique. If using intarsia technique, use separate
balls of yarn and make sure to twist yarns when switching balls
to prevent holes. After finishing chart, leave the rem 60-64 sts on
hold. Work a second piece in the same way.
Using 2 strands of yarn, graft both pieces following chart and
sew side seams. Evenly distribute sts on hold over 3 doublepointed
needles and work 20 cm in Rib pattern, working in the
round. Bind off in Rib pattern.
